Just like recruiting 5 star guys to VT


The coaches can do everything right on the recruiting trail and still have a higher profile school who was not involved in the process swoop in and snatch. That is just the way football coaching searches are too. Whit could do everything right with say Napier and even have an agreement in principal only to have a Florida or LSU, who are way higher on the college football food chain than we are swoop in at the last minute and that is that. No coach or 5 star recruit simply because of who we are vs who the last minute suiter is.

This was something the people who so wanted to fire Fu would not listen to. They think we are one of those places all we need is a coach or AD. We need much more than that.
