First we missed on Billy Napier. Florida ended up giving him around $3million total more than we could offer. So Whit turned around and swung for the fences. He actually had meetings with Lane Kiffin. It’s 100% confirmed. They actually thought they had him nailed down. But everything started getting wild and pieces shifted way too fast. So he turned and refocused and ended up with Brent Pry. P5 coach, regional ties, knows the culture and recruits the best players in VA.

Clawson was never considered. Bill O’brien was never considered. Matt Campbell was never considered. Hugh Freeze was never considered. Those were all lies and our message board colleagues pumping up fake smoke because they took the bait.
