Personally, I think it was a relative of a neighbor that lives up the road.

Had a woman up there a few yrs ago end up with 9 felony charges for check fraud. MrsFr8Dog bought some Girl Scout cookies from one of the kids that lived at the end of the road down from our farm. We would always give her and or her brother a ride (3/4mile to pavement) to/from the school bus if we saw them. One day I noticed a DISH charge a couple of Duke Power charges on MesFr8Dog’s checking account (we have always maintained separate accounts) that weren’t ours. Turns out, the Girl Scout’s mom took MrsFr8Dog’s check and used the numbers to pay some of her bills a—>> 9 felony charges. I think someone related to her went through our mailbox to get enough info to try to be me and drain my account - maybe even having inside hep at the bank.
