maybe a little bit annoying at times, teaching the audience the different styles of banjo playing - dude, this is where bluegrass was invented guy - and had several banjoes on a rack on stage which I've never seen in another bluegrass band ever. (OK, maybe a banjo and a mandolin)

OK, got that out of the way, sorry. still a lot of fun and great in the way he doesn't have to do comedy for a couple hours straight, nice balance really for him and the audience I suppose, be serious and play a bit, and yes, he's really good, and then do comedy bits (looking down from my plane and seeing the SCRs in their bus)

SCR's are no slouches in their own right, one of the better bluegrass bands, Steve Martin was not stupid in his choice. Woody has a pretty amazing base voice. Haven't heard them in a while though, need to google 'em and see what they're up to.

It rained that night delaying Steve Martin for hours, wondering if we'd get to see him at all, sorta like from 8 to 10:30 so really late show, so a lot of kids were playing football in the race track mud as the crowd started chanting "USA! USA! USA!) sorry I didn't join them, you had to be there! ;^)
