I would advocate for the rule to be rewritten to eliminate the possibility.
As much as I don't want endless replays; the game has already been tilted hard to the offense side of the football. To add this "move" in regularly just tilts it harder. Especially given the penalty to risk hitting a sliding QB is generally called targeting and ejection.
Either drop the penalty to 5 yards or rewrite the rule. Its bad enoigh how ridiculous the QB position is treated like a piece of glass with the current rules.
