N'Guessan is progressing...

Maybe not warranting of the "Baby KD" or "Dutch KD" monikers...but he is on a solid progression. A definite improvement over last season. I hope he makes these kinds of jumps each year.

Big John actually showed some signs of progression last night as well. He has been a one-read type of player all year (i.e. if he isnt doubled, back his man down and shoot... if he is doubled, pass out). But last night he faced a weird zone look that would confuse even some astute basketball players. He could have backed the center down and gotten a decent look, but instead he did a dribble handoff screening the only wing on that side of the ball. It got his teammate (either Alleyne or Pedulla, I cant remember) a wide open 3.

Defensively he has some limitations for how quickly he reacts, but he is very useful as someone who can guard a post without help whipe giving Aluma a break. And thats all he needs to be this season. Next season he needs to take a big leap though
