What does any of this matter?


Their careers at VT and UVA won't be defined by how many head coaches they worked under.
By the way,

Frank Beamer had coached under 3 head coaches at 3 schools prior to being promoted to head coach at Murray State. GA at Maryland. Assistant at the Citadel, Defensive coordinator at Murray State.

Dabo Swinney coached at 2 schools prior to becoming head coach at Clemson. 2 coaches at Alabama (Stallings, Dubose) and one at Clemson (Bowden).

both of those guys did ok as head coaches.
