You can’t go inside out when they just play your inside guys 1 vs 1 & stop


Them. Aluma stopped scoring 1 on 1 in 2nd half. Duke sat on the passes back out to the perimeter (remember those series where they kept deflecting passes?). They were going to make Aluma & Mutts score more 2s than Duke did. Problem is Duke was bigger & had 5 different guys to take us to the bucket. We had 2…and they started missing contested 1 vs 1s. Duke turned it into an iso game smartly because they’ve got more individual talent. They didn’t allow our normal passing after the first 4 min of 2nd half. They benched their slower bigger guys & went “small” for them with Banchero who’s normally a wing playing Aluma at 5
