Modern college football = BCS era to current..


At least IMO. Unless you mean modern as in the last 4-5 years. Point is, VT has already played for a natty, and had multiple winning seasons & conf titles after that.
We also see other less/non traditional schools like Oregon, Cinci have success and at least get a shot of playing for natty.

So those 4 things…meh, i could argue you need about 12 things… moot point because VT has already had success and can do it again.
