There was time when we had the ball in the red zone and you knew....


......it was going to be violently gained TD. I remember a color photo on the front page of the RTWN sports section of an OL composed of I believe Jay Hagood, Bill Conaty, the Washington Brothers, and maybe Gennaro DiNapoli lined up on the 10 vs WVU. They had these wide splits, and I remember we just hammered the ball in for a TD. Also remember playing Miami in that era and just dominating TOP at the end of the game, even taking a FG off the board on a penalty to grind out a few more minutes of clock. Those were the days.
