There was a time I would have had an issue with that...

I used to think that a schools should promise a scholarship for 4 years, now I don't. With the cost of attendance, NIL, players wanting to be treated like pros, etc. I'm totally OK with schools cutting guys who don't cut it and taking their scholarship, just like the pros do.

Most academic scholarships require a level of performance to keep, why should athletic scholarships be different?
