Let’s just say my definition of what “politics” includes


Probably differs from others. We miss out on a wide swath of discussion because people start crying the minute someone posts something they don’t agree with.

Education would be a great example. It’s virtually impossible to have a discussion on the topic without someone being offended because they think it’s political. But since education leadership and funding is driven by elected officials it’s easy for folks to hit the abuse button the minute they don’t agree with something and start yelling TOS.

In the meantime our primary and secondary education systems are a mess with little hope for improvement in the near term.
