Pierson has something to prove

this is a big jump for him in position as well as pay so, if his past as a player is any indication, he should have a chip on his shoulder to produce results and prove that he belongs at this level now and not later. Someone on staff must believe in him for him to get this big promotion. I wonder who it was? Maybe Price?
