Hard to say what our record would be now if


Alleyne was shooting a “normal” percentage. But I do feel confident that the two 5 point losses to Dayton and NC State would be wins if we had a better shooter than the 3-21 Alleyne hoisted up in those two games. That’s an awful lot of empty possessions to overcome. The Covid break didn’t help either.

I’m not real sure what “normal” is for him. We all certainly expected better than 23% from him after shooting 41% from behind the line last season. But getting deeper into the season now I’m not really expecting him to just revert back to his 41% form overnight.
