The FDA is seeking approval for children ages 2 and up


It's been in the news for awhile. Novavax is still within weeks of FDA submission.

As for science, they seem optimistic that Omicron is going to broaden immunity more than the past variants since it's more infectious and people are more apt to develop severe cases with less deadly consequences.

It generally takes at least two months for a vaccine to get approval once the FDA has received the application.
