NIL has nothing to do with scholarships


Boosters can now pay anyone they want, as much as they want, and the player doesn't have to be on scholarship. Any team can now have 100, 150, even 200 players on the payroll, but only 85 receiving scholarship money.

Look for teams like Bama, aTm and Big Tex to start having more than 85 "paid" players on their teams.
