If you recently switched between heating and cooling, then valve in the new direction probably isn't working. It is causing overpressure in the line and very quickly shutting down after properly spinning up. There's nothing you can do to fix it. (I was quite used to resetting my heat pump control board for under pressure alarm in extreme cold.) Rather than pay for repairs, I punted my heat pump for a dedicated AC unit and a natural gas furnace for about $6k. I am WAY happier with new system than old heat pump.
