It's not a false equivalency at all... it wasn't even an equivalency

It was an inquiry about the ecologic impact of lithium mining and how it compares with fossil fuel 'mining' and usage. I thought based on your earlier post you may be in the mining industry and have some insight into the facts of that. My mistake. But at least Tafkam offered something useful to consider, so I got that out of it.
