Everyone thinks players are getting taken advantage of. Several decades ago many of these kids coming out with lives changed while only being role players didn't exist.

We now have a system set up that can cause generational change for thousands of kids who previously had little chance of success. Yes, much of that comes on the backs of the uber-talented but football is a team sport and that's part of it.

I agree that coaching salaries have gotten out of hand. It's ridiculous but it is what it is. But paying the players in the open this much is going to have negative effects. Yes smaller schools are going to get bigger players. They'll go for a year or two and then transfer to win. The smaller schools will play the game for a while and then give up.

This NIL crap is going to kill the opportunities for non-rev kids and role players.
