Not a good pattern. If I was a 4* player coming out of HS and I wasn't starting as a sophomore and the players ahead of me were juniors and getting many more minutes than me, I'd be looking at the Portal.
I just don't get it. People say Maddox hasn't picked up the offense or defense yet but Alleyne and Cattoor were getting starter's minutes as freshmen and I doubt they picked up the system to Coach Young's liking.
Having a great coach is nice but you don't win without the studs. You don't win without talent.
Next year, we lose Aluma, Mutts and Murphy. That's 34 ppg gone. If we don't hit a few home runs in the Portal over the off-season, methinks next season may be worse than this season.
