How much of a synthetic blend does it take to keep cotton shirts...

...looking respectable for an extended amount of time?

I bought a couple 100% cotton "Hendley" shirts, and both look a bit rough after one season. I'll wear them around the house, but...

Is there some minimal synthetic percentage where shirts keep their looks for several years? Something casual you can wear "out" to a bar or restaurant without being too embarrassed...lol
