I picked the worst weekend to move...

Locked into a lease in Charlotte, NC and communicated with my movers to transport all of my furniture and stuff in storage down to me on Saturday from Springfield, VA. Of course, nothing went to plan with the movers. I was told that the movers would leave early morning on Saturday and make it down by late afternoon. That didn't happen. The guy bringing my stuff down didn't leave until 5 p.m. So, he made it down 95 until it started sleeting and then stopped somewhere.

Yesterday, with the storm moving through he made it to High Point, NC.

Today, I heard he got the truck stuck at the hotel he stayed at and my stuff still isn't here.

Long distance moving sucks.
