What's this?

Well, the title is "Total Accumulated Snowfall", so are they talking about


the total accumulation for the winter....including the projection for whatever storm is on the way, or is that supposedly the prediction for one pending storm?

I was living in Raleigh from Fall 1998 to (almost) Spring 2003 and it was either 99/00 or 00/01 where they got what was supposed to be a '100 year snowfall', and that was about 18 inches. 34 would cause the world to stop there.
