Re BB....

I thought BB gave everything he had to the Hokies. He played hard, often played injured, but demonstrated a toughness that all observed and appreciated. For whatever reasons, he must have felt that somewhere else would be better for him, so he entered the portal. Personally, I think that a player entering the portal is an indication that their commitment to a program has waned. BB may have hoped that he could find just what he wanted elsewhere, but, should that not be the case, come back (stay) at Tech. Coaches want players who want to be here - as their first choice. They want players who are committed - no matter what. Since BB did not demonstrate that level of commitment, JC and others must have felt that he needed to move on. I hated to see him enter the portal, but he did. I don't think he will play for the Hokies again. Good luck, BB. We will miss you,
