You want to call out people for "bringing him up" then your beef is with the original poster, not me. You think his leaving is "irrelevant' then you should be responding to the original post, not mine. I've talked plenty about Mike Young. You've made two completely incorrect and inaccurate assumptions about me that are simply not based in reality. And amazingly enough you just keep on digging. My comment was about Buzz b/c the topic was about Buzz.

Your attempt to write off Mike Young's first year as a credit to Buzz and "his players" is by far the worst "take" in this topic and it's not even close. Buzz leaving is "irrelevant" to you but he somehow deserves credit for MY getting to the NCAA last year. You seem to be guilty of the same type of behavior towards Buzz that you're falsely accusing me of having towards MY. I was critical of the MY hire. I was telling people to pump the brakes early this season when we looked good.

None of that changes the fact that Buzz's tenure here was all about Buzz and helping him land his next job. MY's struggles don't absolve Buzz of any responsibility in how he failed to build the program in any meaningful long term way. You seem to think it's some sort of either/or and it's not. But then again you can't seem to comprehend why someone would respond with a post about Buzz in a topic about Buzz so it's not all that surprising. I've tried to explain my point as clearly as possible and all you can do is shout "bad take", make repeated incorrect assumptions, and create strawmen arguments.

MY may or may not be the answer at coach. Buzz was not the messiah he's made out to be by some here. Both things can be true.
