There are at least five wrestlers from North Texas on current ACC rosters (Decker brothers @ Duke, Reenan and Smith at NCSU, and Hart on VT). Four of those actually grew up in the same town north of Fort Worth, Keller.

Other recent notables…. Ferrari NCAA Champ at OSU, Mueller…NCAA finalist at UVA and of course Bo Nickal (High School only in North Texas).

A point of pride for me. For several years I ran a lot of those local tournaments that you just sat through. Maybe you were watching a future NCAA champ.
