Also need to accept that the mediocrity is less the AD

and more where we are within the landscape of Fball and bb right now. As bad as I hate it, we are not a school that is "recruited" by the players (football or bball) that we need to make a difference. Not only that, we don't start from even but from behind for the class or players we need. So we blame the coaches for not beating in recruiting the teams the good players do recruit themselves to and not taking the less recruited players and developing them to be better than advertised.

As far as "accepting mediocrity" well probably 80% of all fball and mbb teams are mediocre or below, It's not "poor little ol VT" it is everybody but the bluebloods.
