When speaking of officiating in general; not just VT what I HATE


1) calls in the open court that have no effect on a scorer or are going to result in a turnover (including VERY inconsistent moving screen calls across crews
2) in same game they make those calls shooters and drivers who attack the rim are hacked or shoved and not rewarded with FTs OR they’re undercut and called for charges
3) ticky tack often non-contact 3 pt 3 FT fouls awarded because a guy may land with a tiny bit of contact into a defender

The number of incorrect charge calls made is MADDENING.

Yesterday Mutts attempted to go up strong for inside layup multiple times and was manhandled frequently. He shot 0 FTs. Then he gets called for his 4th foul standing perfectly still and vertical with minimal contact that had no effect on the lay-in.

Because of these inconsistencies it can readily appear officials just decide to call whatever they want whenever they want
