I’m not saying NC state would “use” it but, we


have recruited some
of the same kids. Matt Singleton, Caleb Henson and Jackson Arrington for example in the most recent class. We got Henson #1 and they got Arrington #2 (both currently 152 lbs in high school), so that one kind of worked itself out. The one that really stings is Matt Singleton - we had a ton of ties to him and recruited him very hard - unfortunately he chose NC State. #1 at 170. (174 or probably 184 in college). Hurt more for VT when we missed on Gabe Arnold at those weights (Iowa).

Also we both recruited Trey Kibe from the class prior(chose VT). He went to the same high school as the Hidlays.
