Generally Bacot got great post position early in the game and made the 5

footers. He also got rebounds and easy stick backs. But after the first 5 minutes Aluma and Mutts did a lot better job of keeping him from getting post position. However denying him the post (generally fronting him) meant that he was always in good rebounding position; he crashed the boards on every shot and got a ton of offensive rebounds. But we would collapse on him and contest the 3-4 foot stick backs. I was shocked how many rolled off the rim. Manek got his points beyond the arc; he couldn't finish near the rim either.

How did we slow down Bacot? Or did he go cold? -- TomTurkey 01/25/2022 09:26AM
