I am in trouble at work for not teaching Social and Emotional learning. I


am sorry about that, I was busy teaching MLA format, vocabulary, and literature. I thought those modules we did at the beginning of the year were all we were doing on that. I didn't know it was supposed to be an every day thing. I thought when I told the students, "Have a nice day," or "Are you okay?" that was the Social and Emotional learning part. I am also coaching soccer. I am here when it is dark in the morning and don't get home until dark. It's no surprise more than 50 percent of teachers quit in the first 3 years.
