Most of our vacations are pretty strong on culture


I just want to go some place warm and relaxing this time.

When we went to Mexico for our honeymoon, there was a family from NC there on our trip to the pyramids. As we drove past some really modest (euphemism) cinderblock homes, the middle school age daughter said "no wonder they all want to come to the US" in a middle school age girl snotty tone. I thought it was a great potential teaching moment, but the parents didn't bite.
