High school "funk" moves get most guys killed in college

Elite high school wrestlers can certainly throw some funk when they're up against lesser talent, but most of them have the funk pounded out of them when they start facing equal or higher caliber guys in college. That funky move you pulled off when you were a high school senior becomes the last move you make before staring up at the lights in college.

And then you have a few - damn few - guys who wrestle funky in college and it works - like Bryce. But there are not a lot of guys like that.

I thought the kid he faced from App State (Millner) was wired the same way. Their match was funky and amazing! Millner finished 6th and is a 2-time AA.
