Which reminds me of something I saw in the NW-Mich game the other week There was one player on base, and NW hit an HR. As the player who started on first was about halfway to third, she just turned in toward home for some reason. The player who hit the HR kept going toward third. She stopped when she noticed what the other player had done, but she was out because she had made it closer to third than the other player. I had never seen that before. The announcers did not know why the first player left the base path and headed home.
