Yep . . . but it's the nature for being a top 20 program . . .

How much time have you spent on message boards for the SEC softball teams? There's a price athletes pay for the spotlight. There always has been to some degree but, of course, the internet has magnified the spotlight. As interest in the sport of softball and now VT softball has grown it's inevitable that the coaches and players will be scrutinized in this and other forums, sometimes fairly and sometimes not. Certainly there are lines that shouldn't be crossed but I certainly haven't seen any crossed on this board. Of course, if it's your daughter (I've been there) or your "adopted" ones any criticism is going to seem harsh but it simply goes with the territory in 21st century.
