Given that Stanford is a private school and VT is a public school,


it is interesting you chose that comparison. I don't think it was a bad choice. I do wonder though if private schools have additional tools, resources, and/or advantages (i.e. not require by law to disclose annual financial statements) that are currently not available to public schools. It probably doesn't help that I'm having a little difficult of thinking of an example of a public school that closely mirrors Stanford's model.
