out the most to me is Mike Vicks 1st game. It was very windy and he didn’t look good at all and I’m sure the wind played a part in the that. One of the most notable plays of the game was when he was tackled out of bounds by I believe Ike Whitaker and they got into a scuffle and if I am wrong on that player Vick fought with please correct me. The entire scrimmage was not a very good display of what was to come that fall.

As my wife and I where leaving at the end of the game. We had to go out through some construction gates as they where building the end zone section at the time with all the suites and there where two guys saying they believed this team would play for a national championship. My wife and I looked at each other and chuckled at what they said after watching the terrible play on the field and the most memorable play was the fight Vick got into on the sideline. We all know how that season turned out.

Of coarse I’m not suggesting this team will play for a NC LOL or even win the coastal or have a winning record. Just saying the spring game really never tells you much but I certainly understand why coaches don’t want to show the cards during these games. It’s now time to see what moves are going to take place on the roster as I would bet the coaches have a pretty good idea by now who’s coming and who’s going. With some juco players there Saturday hopefully we can tap into one or two of those that can help us and some portal kids as well as we clear out our roster. Thank you Bob.
