to the end of season and a lot of teams getting better towards the end, and they have a lot of film on pitchers. You are going to get their best. She wasn't 100%, but Coach Pete had confidence in her, kept her in for full game. She doesn't get ruffled or upset, she is one cool customer when the rest of us are anxiety gorillas. She kept us in the game at critical times with key strikeouts. She calmly closed out a stressful, close game when our batters were not their best (and poor running decisions). That's what you want from an All-American. We are fortunate we have her on our team, especially during close games.
And how about Repko off the bench at the bottom of 6th inning, pinch hit for Lawter, are you kidding me? Her poppin' it double for RBI ended up being the winning run.
