I have a meteorite I found in the back yard of my first home here.


I found it embedded in the dirt, just below a large willow oak branch that had been broken by the meteor just before it hit ground. It's about the size of your fist balled up and it's magnetic.

Granular on one side, smooth and singed on the other (from entry thru the atmosphere?). Had it validated by our local science museum.
