Regarding the television coverage, people really ought to go to the race

and forgo television. It used to be said, and it still holds true, at the track it is a 500 lap/mile commercial for the sponsors. Problem is now, it's that for the viewer. If you don't go to it live, you probably miss 50% of the race. It just isn't worth the trouble. I'm old, hell, the commercials get so ridiculous I forget what I'm watching.

I'm with you on #1, too, when they took away cheating, they slowly started killing it, and not necessarily cheating, but innovative ideas. It's turned into a season long IROC season. They might as well draw names out of a hat as to who gets in which car.
