Coach Pete should be/deserves ACC Coach of the Year.

Looking at FSU who has the top ACC recruiting class every year and top transfers, it is expected for them to be at the top of ACC every year. They have been the "Oklahoma" of the ACC for years. But times are changing, it's not going to be easy for them any longer. Their SOS/RPI has been behind VT all year. VT has been #1 RPI/#1 SOS most of the year. VT recruiting doesn't match FSU, but Coach Pete has done "more with less." VT beat FSU 2 of 3 convincingly (credit #3 to FSU coach). VT surprised everyone in the country, including displacing powerhouse, media favorite FSU. Based on expectations, #1 VT overperformed, #2 Duke same, #3 FSU underperformed. VT ACC Regular Season Champions.
