Last night's game vs Liberty

My family and I had the pleasure of attending the game last night. Due to some medical issues, this was the first time we were able to attend a game. A couple of notes from the game:
- I had the pleasure of meeting @VTChip who does an excellent job of keeping everyone informed about everything VT softball and getting the crowd fired up (although Arthur did a great solo job later in the game)
- Arthur was right in front of us. If there was an award for spirit and cuteness, Arthur would take home the trophy!
- During the delay before the start of the game, we watched some members of the men's track team practice (including Cole Beck). Rector Fieldhouse doesn't look the same as when I was a student playing touch football on the turf back in the 70's.
- Had the opportunity to speak to Dot Richardson, Liberty's coach. She was very friendly and outgoing. She is an excellent ambassador for women's softball and was very complimentary of Tech's team.
- Liberty is a very good and dangerous team.
- The atmosphere at the game was incredible and the team is fun to watch. The game looks great on TV, but the in person experience is well worth it.
Go Hokies!
