The offense consists of 10 seconds getting the ball up the court and then 18-19 seconds of passing or dribble around the perimeter and taking a desperation shot. We cannot make a pass into the post without a turnover and we made a number of bad passes. Hicks looked gassed a lot in the 2nd half. When we get an open shot we usually missed. Dennis is back to his old habit of "make a mistake and you come out" and yelling at the players which he had gotten away from for the most part this year. I'm sure he is frustrated but they don't respond to yelling at them. He should know that. And why Powell starts over Cook is baffling to me. Cook was pretty much the only post player on the floor that looked as if she had a clue and was high scorer but she doesn't start. I think Campbell is still limited with the ankle. She had a brace on the right ankle and played ok when she was in the game. GT had a lot of big bodies and they pushed us around and outrebounded us most of the night. Defense was ok except for a few lapses but we aren't going to win an ACC game with 38 pts. At this point the only likely win I see is Pitt. The rest are losses or toss ups unless we have a hot outside shooting night. As someone else said the opponents have figured out that the press kills our offense.
