Not enough progress in conference for me
If the tournament started today, we'd get Pitt, then Miami then Syracuse. Obviously standings can change. Pitt pushed us around with their bigs which isn't likely to change. Yesterday was evidence that we could beat Miami but very unlikely we beat Cuse. But it could happen. I don't even know why Collegiate Times weighs in. How many students do you see at the games. Much smaller number than in the past, or at least it appears that way to me. If we win 2 or 3 in the tournament, maybe Whitt holds off. But realistically is a recruit going to sign knowing that without substantial improvement next year is likely to be the last for this coaching staff absent substantial improvement in the conference. And this is a year when Duke, UNC and UVA are down from their usual performance.
