I don't think South Alabama gets in over us, FWIW

Huge difference in strength of schedule (#5 vs. #47) and their only Top 50 win (1-12) was over Mississippi State, which ended up with a losing record.

Who knows what the committee is thinking, however. I once heard they were "certifiably insane."
