It appears you only have a little bit of the back story.

The other side of it would be that Seth totally dicked the Curry's around. Told them he didn't have a scholarship and then went out and offered 5'6" Hank Thorns from the entire other side of the country when Munson transferred. On top of that, Seth insulted Sonja which ultimately cost us Seth Curry.

Whether you want to believe it or not. Steph Curry and then later Seth Curry were the beginning to the end for SG. Things snowballed from there.
