have caught up or even passed us. Clemson and NC State have improved. Louisville, Miami, BC, and Syracuse are getting better. Then you have UNC, UVA, Duke, FSU, Notre Dame, ... The ACC is a relentless conference. If you slip a year or two in recruiting, it will show up a few years later. It looks like we aren't as fast as the top half teams. In the not so long ago past, we had some offensive speed and we played very physical defense. It also seemed like we had more taller and physical players in past seasons.

What I've observed this year is an improving defense (as the season progresses) and a out-of-sync offense which lacks the talent of years past. This team would dominate the CAA or MAC and be a top 4-5 SEC team. Unfortunately, we play in the ACC.
