I expected it to be a hard fought game but Tech just took over in the final 10-12 minutes.

Our defense is still very good. Offensively, I thought the ladies played as well as expected for the first game. Sammi Hill has more confidence, but still plays too fast at times. Vanessa Panousis didn't have a good game offensively. Magarity and Cook will be taking in a lot of minutes this season. Foul trouble is my concern with those two. Hicks is by far our best player. I like what I saw from Parker and Kinder. Parker has some jets on her too. I love seeing Hicks and Parker running the floor. That's what we need to be competitive in the ACC. The Georgetown game will tell us more about this team. IMHO, we beat a good UNC-A team today. The ladies made it look easy in the final quarter of play.
