Are you sure the Committee is watching games together every week
they plan to release their poll? I believe it has been confirmed by multiple media outlets (even going back to the first year of the Playoff) that the only time they watch games together is Conference Championship Weekend. If that wasn't the case then you wouldn't hear multiple media personalities from multiple media outlets advocating that the Committee should watch more than 1 game together. There were people advocating that point the first year of the Playoff.
It does make me wonder if the Committee is truly meeting in person every week or are they utilizing the ability to hold video conferences/teleconferences for the meetings held prior to the meeting on Conference Championship Weekend. Also, it makes me wonder how long the other weekly meetings are for and what is discussed in those meetings. It is possible the only time they have real in depth discussion is during their last regular season meeting. The other meetings may be so the members can share how they voted that week and resolve any potential tiebreakers (assuming the Committee isn't on board with 2 teams having the same rankings).
