nothing is in 4K not even Netflix, even if they say it. The amount of compression required removes any possibility that you will see 4K. See link, but uncompressed 4K requires approximately 12Gps sustained throughput. That means Amazon and Netflix are compressing it to about 15Mps, an order of magnitude smaller. That equals huge data loss.

What makes the new tvs great is something called HDR. HDR is high dynamic range. The reason 4K tvs look better is the new technology that came with 4K not 4K itself.

About the only thing you can get a 4K picture from would be a blu-ray and player, certainly nothing on tv or streaming. There are only 15-20 movies in 4K.
